Texas LTC Proficiency Test

Service Description

We strongly advocate for 2nd Amendment rights, supporting the constitutional right to keep and bear arms and promoting responsible gun ownership. There is no longer a classification of concealed handgun license. You can qualify with a revolver, or you can carry a semi-automatic. There is no minimum caliber to legally carry as long as it is a legal pistol. We require at the minimum a .22 caliber pistol to qualify. All handguns will be inspected by instructors for the safety of the shooter, instructors, and other students. Unsafe handguns will not be allowed for the shooting proficiency test. We have firearms for rent if we believe the firearm is unsafe or you feel more comfortable using one of ours. Any student not following safe gun handling procedures on the range or in the classroom will be asked to leave the classroom and range. This is not a Basic Pistol Course, and we do not have time to teach basic knowledge and understanding on how to shoot so if you need more training, please seek it or book our Basic Pistol Course for $25 off the bundle. NO REFUNDS for safety violations and we would have to submit a form to Texas DPS for any Accidental Discharge. Course of Fire: 3 yard line - 20 shots: • 1 shot in 2 seconds, 5 times • 2 shots in 3 seconds, 5 times • 5 shots in 10 seconds, once 7 yard line - 20 shots: • 5 shots in 10 seconds, once • 1 shot in 3 seconds, 5 times • 2 shots in 4 seconds, once • 3 shots in 6 seconds, once • 5 shots in 15 seconds, once 15 yard line - 10 shots: • 2 shots in 6 seconds, once • 3 shots in 9 seconds, once • 5 shots in 15 seconds, once At 2Arm Bears, our students pass the proficiency test after shooting at 3 and 7 yards, however, all 50 rounds must be shot.
